“I wouldn’t go out of my way again to try and take my own life, yet if it happens by some other means or someone else whim then I’d not go out of my way to stop it this time either.” – A Strange Man
“Your dreams are not your own. They are the forgotten cries of souls long since departed from this world. It is time for you to find peace like they once did, forgo embellishing your lingering will. Let go of the pain to which you hold, come now child, embrace the voids sweet release.” – The Heart of Chaos
“You’ll never make a saint out of a sinner, but you can sure a hell make a sinner out of a saint.”
“Just because someone doesn’t care, don’t assume they don’t understand.”
“I would hate you if I cared enough.” – Unknown
I have no idea who did what, or any of the context as to why that was said, however what a way to end a conversation.
“We’d have far less problems in life if we were to admit our part in causing them.”
The first –
“They don’t call me Greed for nothing! I want money! Women! Status! And power! I want everything this world’s selling and eternity is topping the list! Understand?”
How does that relate to real life?
People don’t want to get old, they spend years trying to stave off the grim reaper or give the illusion of youth.
Don’t believe me?
Make up, plastic surgery, hair transplants, gyms, need I go on?
The second –
“I disagree. You want to bring back someone that you’ve lost. You might want money. Maybe you want women. Or, you might want to protect the world. These are all common things people want. Things that their hearts desire. Greed may not be good, but it’s not so bad, either. You humans think greed is just for money and power! But everyone wants something they don’t have.”
Everyone does indeed want something they don’t have, to say otherwise would be a lie, not to me or anyone else, to yourself.
The only ones who want for nothing are the gods, or so we’re lead to believe. If they wanted then their divinity would be in question would it not? If they wanted they’d be nothing more than what we are.
Accept your sins and your avarice, embrace your humanity.
