The girl with hair of fire red
And those eyes of emerald green
It’s easy to see what she hides
To know how the past played out
Every word is written all over her face
Clear as day for all to see
Behind the fake smile she wants to be held
Told it will be okay
Given hope that she will one day be enough
Would you tell a lie to save heart from breaking again and again?
She is a reflection of my past, of my life lived by another person
The only difference is she’s the one suffering
If we had met in another time we’d both be more than the broken pieces of who we were
Would we have been the happy ending the other sought
Did you know the secret to enlightenment is actually pretty easy to figure out, however it’s what you have to do to achieve said enlightenment that’s difficult.
It’s written in various texts and scriptures spanning vast decades of time, but only a few have ever come to realise the final steps of it.
Would you care to know what it is?
It’s the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object.
The door at the end of the hall.
Gods own personal joke that keep everything separate and subject to it’s will and control.
Are you sure you want to know?
Enlightenment is nothing. It’s relinquishing what is and what we are. To be more than we are we have to let go of what were are and become something else entirely, but if we do that then we may be enlightened but we will no longer be who we are.
It’s quite the paradox really.
Would you really want to be one of the enlightened few if it meant such a high cost? You can see people all around the world who have made that choice, their vacant faces are haunting because while they are here they are no longer with us. They’ve ascended and the shell you see is all that’s left. It’s quite sad really.
